Dear Family,
This is a picture from the leadership training. It was a four day meeting, so I stayed in Columbia with some of the other missionaries in an apartment. One night we were discussing some of the stuff that was going on in the mission and we decided to do something about it, so we wrote a Declaration of Dependence. (Dependence on the Lord) We submitted the idea to President McConkie and he liked it so he had it typed up and put on a huge piece of parchment paper and all the leaders in the mission signed it. It was really cool!
